The sale begins on Thursday, September 3rd at 8:00 pm. The line to get in usually starts getting pretty big around 7:30, but we'll let you early birds in earlier if we finish preparing. The sale also runs all day Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday the 7th (Labor Day).

Each bin holds over 22 standard boxes worth of comics and, better yet, they've been recently stocked, restocked and checked against over stock.
Trade Paperbacks & Graphic Novels 50% - 90% OFF. No, not all of them, but certainly enough that you'll find some really great stuff at terrific prices. We say it every year, but IT'S A QUANTITY THING, NOT A QUALITY ONE. We don't just put the crap on clearance, no sirree, we check what we want to have in stock and sell the rest -- no matter the title! (And, a little known fact, we actually shop for good deals all year long to bring you the best possible selection for this sale. Good stuff for sure.)

And, even though they're 'better' books (hence, price), we just have too many of them. So, we've culled out several boxes and marked them down by 50% for the sale. Find them on the counter in the SHOWCASE COMICS SECTION.

We've selected hundreds (could be a thousand, they really do make a lot of these) different limited edition covers from Marvel, DC, IDW and a bunch of other companies and placed them atop the SHOWCASE COMICS COUNTER. Save 50%. It's a steal. (Some of these even end up less than cover price at half-off.) If you don't know what incentive covers are, you might not be interested, but, all the same, companies often make LIMITED EDITION variants of popular (and not) titles and offer them to retailers with a caveat. Instead of ordering all we think you will want, we can only order one of the 'INCENTIVE COVERS' for each 10, 15, 20 and on (up to 1000) of the regular comic we order. These editions are much more difficult to come by than the standard editions.
Bagged Set and Full Series at Steep Discounts! We put together complete sets and series ranging from 3-issue minis up to 125 issue complete runs for prices much lower that the 'list price'.
