We are open now with new comics!
You will be required to wear a mask to shop in any of the Fandom stores. We are hoping to receive a large number of them soon from ATXSupply. Please provide your own if at all possible. We will be wearing masks for your safety. Please do us the same courtesy.
We will only allow 10 CUSTOMERS AT A TIME in Austin Books. Guzu has a limit of 4 and Outlaw Moon has a limit of 3. This is per the current Occupancy Load mandate of 25% capacity.
Yes, we will continue to do an online pull list. This will change at some point when we’ve completely transitioned to our new Point of Sale System — which you can see HERE.
We will also be inputting customers into our Point of Sale System for Special Orders, Pre-Orders and Ongoing Pulls. This is optional but, if you plan to take advantage of this service, fill out THIS FORM on our website and get ahead of the rush!
Wednesday is still new comic book day (NCBD.)
Store hours are going to be limited until situations normalize. Wednesdays we will be open 11-7. All other days will be 1pm – 7pm until further notice. Updates will be included in weekly emails as well as through social media platforms. You may also call the store at 512-454-4197 for the most up to date information.
We have canceled all after hours gaming, art shows and events. Oh, and Free Comic Book Day is delayed until later in the year on a date yet to be determined. (We still don’t know.)
Health and safety are very important to us and we’re taking precautions to ensure a safe shopping environment. We also understand that we provide much needed entertainment and escapism during difficult times. That’s why we’re administering high levels of caution to provide you with a safe place to get your reading materials.
Only healthy employees are working (we’re all healthy at this time). We’re washing our hands regularly and using strong cleaning supplies on the front counter, register, credit card machines and all regularly used equipment.
We are still offering curbside delivery with payment by PayPal (info@www.austinbooks.com), Venmo (https://venmo.com/austinbooks) or Credit Card. Just follow the instructions online Or call ahead (512-454-4197) and make arrangements. We can also ship your comics directly to you. You can also prepay for your order thru https://stores.comichub.com/austinbookscomics/.
