Strange Beasts V – Shin Beasts
Guzu Gallery Presents
Strange Beasts V: Shin Beasts
Opening Reception: Friday, July 28th * 7-10pm
July 28, 2017 – August 21, 2017
The Big G is coming back to Austin… and this time it’s personal.
In celebration of the home video release of SHIN GODZILLA, Guzu Gallery has teamed up with anime hotshots, Funimation, and the Kaiju King himself, Matt Frank, to bring you the latest installment of their annual Strange Beasts art exhibition!
Guzu and Matt Frank have enlisted the combined talents of thirteen heroic artists and one fearless tag team to challenge the King of the Monsters to a face-off of gargantuan proportions. Leading the charge will be legendary sci-fi and fantasy artist, Bob Eggleton, who will be signing in person at the gallery on opening night. Additionally, Matt Frank will be signing limited edition prints provided by Funimation. There will also be a Tamashii Nations collectible toy display on view, courtesy of the fine folks at BlueFin.
The opening reception will be on Friday, July 28th from 7 to 10pm and the artwork will remain up through August 21st. Limited edition prints and original artwork will be available for purchase. As always, admission is free and all ages are welcome!
Guzu Gallery welcomes everyone to the show, but if you can’t make it out, the artwork will be available for purchase in their online store on Tuesday, August 1st around 2pm CST.
Stay tuned to Guzu’s and Funimation’s social media outlets for more info and sneak previews as the days get closer to show time!
