Blast Off! Sci-Fi Art Show at Guzu Gallery
Space the final frontier…er, the next frontier! This September, Guzu Gallery is boldly going where we have yet to go before – exploring strange new worlds, and galaxies far, far away. For the first time ever, Guzu will take a trip to the far off worlds of Science Fiction with our new art show, Blast Off!
On display will be all-new, all-extraordinary, pop culture-inspired pieces featuring space travel, extra terrestrials and futuristic settings. Each artist will pay tribute to their favorite heroes, villains, and icons of the sci-fi genre!
The opening reception will be on Friday, September 2nd from 7 to 10pm and the artwork will remain up through October 2nd. Limited edition prints and original artwork will be available for purchase. There will be a live electronic performance by synth-designer and manufacturer, Dr. Bleep of Bleep Labs! In addition to the Doctor’s hypnotic performance of bizarre, sci-fi blips and beeps, attendees will also get to test drive many of the devices and instruments from the laboratory, first-hand! Admission is free and all ages are welcome.
Guzu Gallery welcomes everyone to the show, but if you can’t make it out, the artwork will be available for purchase in their online store on Labor Day – Monday, September 5th around Noon CST.
