A night for the LGBTQIA+ community to come together and talk all your favorite comics!! We will be having snacks and beer but feel free to bring your own munchies for yourself or for everyone to try! (Great icebreaker). There will be board games to play and interactive games with the staff! As well as we will be having Lilah Sturges in!! Stop on by its gonna be a great time!!

The Longest Day for Alzheimer’s Disease Research

Austin Books & Comics is proud to be a sponsor of The Longest Day to raise money for Alzheimer’s Disease research. The Friday, June 21st, is The Longest Day, the day with the most light – the summer solstice. And it’s the day the Alzheimer’s Association calls on everyone to fight Alzheimer’s disease by raising funds and awareness for care, support and research. As almost all of us have been touched by Alzheimer’s disease in some way, help us work to improve treatment and search for a cure. Consider a match on your weekly comic spend, or just give what you can. You can join us in being a Hero for Alzheimer’s Research.
