Frankie from The Goon. He’s vulgar, he’s cussing and drinking, he’s “Knife To The Eye!” yet also one of the most loyal friends.

I’m going with Eugene Patilio, aka The Fabulous Frog-Man, self-proclaimed sidekick to the Amazing Spider-Man. The issues where he turned up were some of the most oddball, zany Spidey stories out there! My favorite was when he, Toad, and Spider-Kid competed/fought over who should be a bewildered Spider-Man’s ally. In the end, they ended up forming their own team, The Misfits!

Ghus. No question.

Who doesn’t love a mutant two faced cat that smokes? A humorous sidekick that made me smile through the whole series. Love that he urinated on everything.
